Prospective bidders for the assets of Moldomobila - Iasi requested a new postponement of the deadline set for bid submission, according to Mihai Duran, a project manager with realtor Eurisko, which is handing the auction. Moldomobila shareholders last September decided to sell the company"s 13.35 hectares through Eurisko Consulting SRL - Bucharest. The starting price is 300 EUR/sq.m., whereas the overall minimum price is 40 million EUR. The funds could be used to entirely pay the debt to the State, relocate the factory to a cheaper area and finance new investments. The auction has been postponed several times to give prospective bidders the time to prepare their investment projects.
