Mugur Isărescu, guest of honor at the "Business behavior in times of crisis" conference organized by the BURSA newspaper

NBR governor Mugur Isărescu will attend the "Business behavior in times of crisis" conference, organized by the BURSA newspaper, with the help of the National Bank of Romania. Mugur Isărescu together with the other guests will discuss the international and domestic economic context, and will be proposing solutions for the Romanian economy.

The main problems that companies are faced with - dropping domestic demand, increased taxation and the low level of loan accessibility - are included on the agenda of the event.

The conference will include two panels: Assessments and Behavior.

The first panel will review the Context of the international crisis (Causes; Outlook; Proposed solutions), the Evolution of the Romanian economy (Sectors; Inflation; Exchange Rate; Fiscal environment) and the situation of the banking sector (International influences; Lending conditions); the second panel will discuss the Romanian Strategy (Economic orientation - sectors; import / export; workforce and productivity; taxation), Management (Resource rationalization; Increase in revenues; Restructuring - technology and information flows; organizational chart; professional training; product / service quality) and Inventiveness (Cases; Creating the right attitude for stimulating ingeniousness).
