The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCTI) intends to establish a national centre to counter attacks on information systems - CERT-RO within the National Institute for IT Research and Development (ICI). The new body will be the single national coordination centre in the field of countering IT attacks and is intended to optimize communication between government, military, academic, commercial, financial, transportation and energy sectors in order to ensure exchanges of information regarding incidents, threats and vulnerabilities of information systems. The centre will also analyse incidents and disseminate information regarding vulnerabilities. The centre will create an annual report on the State of IT Security.
