A Vienna-based company has won a five-year contract to provide advanced IT services to Romania"s National Employment Agency (ANOFM) for a total of 22.41 million EUR, according to an announcement put on the electronic tendering system for public procurement. The contracted was awarded based on an open tender, the winning criteria being "best economic terms."
The initially estimated value of the contract was 23.8 million EUR, VAT included. ANOFM received only one bid. Under this contract, ANOFM will hand over the administration of their IT infrastructure to the contractor, who will also provide support services to ANOFM and ANOFM"s branches across the country. The winning bidder, Arbeitsmarktservice Betriebs GmbH is to provide professional IT services, user support services, software development and wide area network administration.
The contract is not subject to the agreement on public procurement contracts and can be 50% subcontracted. The subcontractors are: Omnilogic (12.68%), Siveco Romania (6.77%), Oracle Romania (2.41%), MBL Computers (13.02%), IBM Romania (3.54%), SVF Management Prod Serv (3.68%).
