The National Housing Agency (ANL) will have the possibility of building homes intended for rental or sale through public-private partnerships. The press release received from our editors, this was decided after the government approved, in its latest meeting, an Emergency Ordinance which revises and amends the law by which the ANL was set up.
The large number of requests for obtaining a home has led to the need to amend the initial law, by promoting steps which would accelerate the construction of homes for rent and/or sale, by attracting private investors, based on public-private partnerships. Also, according to the ordinance, the program will also allow the completion of various buildings which are in various stages of completion.
The administration method to be used, the allocation of homes, as well as the method for selling the homes which will be built will be included in the program approved in a Government Decree. The cost of the projects will be financed by private investors, by the state, through the budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, as well as through other legal sources of revenue. The utilities, the plots of land and the technical facilities will be made available by the local public authorities or by the investors, under the terms of the contracts concluded with the ANL.
