A survey by EuroMetropola reveals that 60% of those looking to buy a home these days are middle-class individuals aged between 30 and 40, while 20% are young individuals aged between 25 and 30. According to a press release to BURSA, 80% of the people who are currently looking to buy a home are married, do not have other properties and are interested in ready-built homes.
They are looking for something up to 170,000 EUR measuring between 50 and 150 square meters. The list of decision factors also includes proximity to Bucharest for apartments and access to utilities, schools, roads and shopping areas for houses.
Many of the prospective buyers are working in sales, banking, IT, medical services and management. Over 60% of the middle-aged customers have their own business. According to the EuroMetropola study, the minimum income of the prospective buyers is 2,000 RON per month. Some 80% of them are interested in a financing plan either from the developer or from a bank, while 20% of them are ready to pay cash.
