EnglishElectrica SA had announced that buy offers for over 800,000 MWh would be placed on the Centralized Market for Bilateral Contracts (PCCB) managed by OPCOM yesterday. However, the tenders were cancelled because of lack of offers. Electrica wanted to buy two packages of 209,400 MWh each for a maximum bid price of 193.5 RON/MWh. The third package was 418,800 MWh with a similar maximum bid price. The delivery window was 16 January - 31 December 2009.
