EnglishNorth Star Shipping SRL - Constanta bought 25.1% in Minmetal SA for 6.17 million RON (1.9 million EUR) according to an announcement sent to RASDAQ. North Star was established in 1996 as a shipping company. The company concluded 2005 with 54.57 million RON in turnover and 6.7 million RON in net profit.
Metanef SA - Bucharest, the majority shareholder in Minmetal SA, sold 50% in the company for a total of 11.95 million RON (3.8 million EUR) through two deals on RASDAQ. A quarter in the company was sold to Omega Capital SRL, an affiliate of the majority shareholder.
Omega paid 826,825 shares (25%) for 5.7 million RON (1.84 million EUR). Minmetal is a Constanta Port operator and has a share capital of 8.23 million RON divided into 3.29 million shares with a face value of 2.5 RON.
