EnglishA number of 133,362 companies have suspended their operations in 2009, 11 times more than last year, according to the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC).
ONRC data shows that compared to 2008, when just 12,019 companies suspended their business operation on a national level, last year suspensions of operations increased by 1009.59 %.
Voluntary dissolutions increased 398.83 % between January and December 2009, from 3,762 in 2008 to 18,766 in 2009 on a national level.
Also, ONRC data shows that in 2009 the number of voluntary deregistrations increased to 43,615 from 17,676 in 2008, (+147%).
