Starting yesterday, Oana Petrescu holds the position of retail vice-president of the Romanian Commercial Bank (BCR).
She is replacing Martin Skopek, who was promoted as a member of the executive Committee of "Erste Group". Oana Petrescu previously was the executive-vice-president of "Operations and IT", where it had a significant contribution to the structuring of the internal processes for the service provided to retail clients in various sectors such as operations, bank transaction processing, expanding and optimizing the branch network, the development of alternative channels for the distribution of BCR services and products. Mrs. Oana Petrescu has a rich expertise in the banking sector, holding various top positions, as member of the executive committee of BCR and an active participant in the transformation of BCR as well as in the position of the financial services departments of "Andersen" and "Ernst&Young". Mrs. Petrescu also serves as vice-president of the Romanian Banking Association (ARB).
At the same time, Dominic Bruynseels, the executive chairman of BCR, will take over the responsibilities of coordinating the functional line "Operations and IT". Dominic Bruynseels will be helped in his new role by his previous experience in the implementation of the operational and system plans for one of the top players of the British banking market, which had over 2,500 branches.
