Ţări precum România, Bulgaria şi Italia sunt, pur şi simplu, aproape neguvernabile, a declarat, ieri, comisarul european pentru energie Gunther Oettinger, în timpul unui discurs public.
Domnia sa a adăugat că situaţia din cele trei state este una de-a dreptul îngrijorătoare.
Declaraţiile comisarului european au stârnit un val de reacţii virulente în ţara noastră.
Ministrul de Externe al ţării noastre, Titus Corlăţean, a declarat ieri că este surprins de afirmaţiile comisarului european, aştepând "explicaţii oficiale, publice, convingătoare" din partea acestuia.
"Sunt profund surprins de remarcile făcute cu privire la România. Aşteptăm explicaţii oficiale, publice, convingătoare, înainte de a face orice alte comentarii", a conchis Titus Corlăţean.
Corina Creţu, europarlamentar PSD, a condamnat ieri, după ieşirea în public a comisarului european, "poziţia arogantă" pe care a avut-o la adresa ţării noastre. "Protestez faţă de acest mod de gândire, care confundă democraţia şi dreptul cetăţenilor europeni de a face alegerile politice pe care le cred potrivite cu incapacitatea de a se guverna. România este cât se poate de guvernabilă şi aşa a fost în toţi aceşti 23 de ani scurşi de la Revoluţie, cu toate greutăţile prin care am trecut şi trecem", a adăugat Corina Creţu.
Domnia sa a continuat: "România are un guvern solid, o majoritate parlamentară la fel de solidă, un program de guvernare realist şi o economie în creştere. Există viaţă politică şi guvernare şi în afara Popularilor Europeni, aflaţi acum în degringoladă din cauza impasului în care au adus Uniunea Europeană".
