EnglishChemical company Oltchim - Ramnicu Valcea (BSE:OLT) has hired Protectchim to build a PVC production call for 887,906 RON, according to an announcement to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). Oltchim has a share capital of 32,358,864 RON divided into 323,588,641 shares with a face value of 0.1 RON. The State Asset Recovery Authority (AVAS) controls the company with 53.26%, followed by PCC SE with 12.9% and SIF Oltenia with 6.8%. The remaining 27.04% is free float. Oltchim reported Y2007 losses of 95.89 million RON, compared to a profit of 8.77 million RON in 2006. The turnover increased from 1.73 billion RON to 1.74 billion RON at the end of 2007.
