The number of dissolved companies increased slightly by 0.63%, in the first 11 months of 2023, up to 35,591, compared to 35,368 in the same period of 2022, according to data centralized by the National Office of the Trade Register (ONRC), cited by Agerpres.
The field of activity that recorded the most dissolutions of companies, in the first 11 months of this year, is wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, where 10,035 dissolutions were registered at national level. Compared to the same period of the previous year, dissolutions in this sector decreased by 5.39%.
According to the cited source, professional, scientific and technical activities, construction, as well as the manufacturing industry are other fields of activity where a large number of company dissolutions were recorded, namely 3,429 (plus 5.48%), 3,385 (minus 0.59 %), respectively 3,056 (minus 1.67 %).
The most dissolutions were registered in Bucharest, respectively 7,507 companies (number increasing by 14.07% compared to the first 11 months of 2022) and in the counties of Cluj (1,850, plus 8.95%), Timiş (1,755, plus 4.84%), Constanţa (1,687, minus 7.71%) and Ilfov (1,671, plus 15.16%).
At the opposite pole, the fewest company dissolutions were recorded in Covasna counties, respectively 181 (minus 21.3%), Ialomiţa (190, minus 1.04%), Mehedinţi (234, minus 3.31%) and Caraş -Severin (253, minus 31.44%)
In November 2023, 4,065 company dissolutions were registered, most in Bucharest (879) and in the counties of Ilfov (221), Cluj (202), Constanţa (199) and Timiş (179).
