EnglishLast year, 22 new residential projects were developed in Bucharest, totalling almost 11.000 apartments. As large projects are developed in several phases, approximately 5.000 housing units were put up for sale in 2006. According to a study carried out by Colliers International, 6.000 new apartments are expected to be delivered this year.
From the 4.778 new apartments promoted last year, some 3.000 (63%) were sold, half of the projects being launched in autumn. According to the quoted study, at the beginning of this year, at least six new residential complexes will be launched. Comprising approximately 3.150 housing units, the projects will be finalized in 3-4 years. Colliers International is currently an exclusive agent for approximately 5.400 housing units of which 1.200 were put up for sale last year.
The newest projects are "Central Park", "My Dream", as well as the first development phases of "Asmita Gardens", "Rose Garden" and "Green Lake".
