French group Flash Consult Invest announced that, so far, partnership contracts have been signed for over 95% of the rentable surface area in the new Pitesti Euromall. Over 100 tenants will pay 30-60 EUR/sq.m/mth for a total surface area of 20 000 square meters.
The investment amounts to 35 de million EUR, Euromall Pitesti being the most modern mall in Romania. The mall is scheduled to be launched in May this year. It will occupy a total surface area of 32 000 square meters, of which 20 000 square meters will be rentable space. The mall will include a shopping area, 170 stores, a 2600 sq.m supermarket, as well as six movie theaters with 1400 seats, casinos and a parking lot with over 700 parking spaces. The French group brings to Euromall Pitesti the largest movie theatre outside Bucharest, after signing a contract worth 2 million EUR with international cineplex network Odeon.
The second Euromall in Romania will be built in Galati. The investment amounts to approximately 45 million EUR and the mall will be finalized by the end of this year. Two other complexes will be built in Craiova and Ploiesti. They will be completed by 2009, the investment reaching approximately 140 million EUR.
