Panasonic Romania estimates a 30% share of the plasma TV market and an overall turnover of 50 million EUR, according to a press conference. The company hopes to sell between 150,000 and 180,000 plasma and LCD TV units by the year-end. The company will also focus on high added-value products such as the high-definition video cameras HDC-DX1 and HDC-SD1 launched on Tuesday in partnership with Media Galaxy.
Panasonic Romania concluded the financial year on March 31st with a turnover of 46.04 million EUR and estimates further increase in 2007 amid increasing sales of electronics and appliances, especially plasma and LCD TV units.
