Paper Plus, a leading player on the local away-from-home (AfH) market, reported a 5x growth in revenues from the sale of paper products in the first 9 months of the year. The company"s development was supported by the introduction of the first Romanian paper brand, Paper Stoc, and the introduction of the international brands Lotus and Lotus Professional, property of Georgia Pacific, to whom Paper Plus is an official partner in Romania.
According to Paper Plus officials, paper products account for over 80% of the company"s sales in the first nine months of 2007. Paper Stoc generated 26% of the respective sales. Estimates for 2007 point to 2.3 million EUR in turnover, up two times y/y, whereas 2008 is expected to bring 3 million EUR, up by 30% from 2007. Established in 2002, Paper Plus offers paper rolls, paper towels, napkins, dispensers and other similar products.
