Bucharest-based Petrolexportimport reported losses of 829,345 RON for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, compared with a profit of 194,153 in the same period last year.
Turnover declined by 22.6%, totaling 7.4 million RON. Revenue amounted to 7.55 million RON, down 25% from the year-ago quarter, while expenses declined by 15.21%, totaling 8.37 million RON. Short-term debt amounted to 39.12 million RON, down 17.25% from the previous fiscal quarter.
Petrolexportimport is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange as PEI and has a share capital of 6.13 million RON, divided into shares with a face value of 15 RON.
