EnglishPetromservice SA Bucharest, a domestic provider of services and equipment for the oil and gas industry, has budgeted investments totaling 230.46 million RON for the current year, according to the company"s development strategy, approved by shareholders and published in the Official Gazette.
Also, the company might change its name to PSV Company, following an agreement with Petrom, in order to avoid any affiliation between the two companies. The final decision in this matter must be taken by December 31st 2007 and the company"s logo will be changed as well.
Petromservice was established in 2002, after Petrom externalized some of its services. Petromservice shares are 49.3% held by Elbahold Limited, 25% by Petrom Employees" Association (PAS), with the rest of stock belonging to a number of 8,577 natural persons.
