All the three pharmaceutical companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange were profitable last year. Antibiotice - Iasi (ATB) reported the highest net profit - 25,032,225 RON, up by 27.20% yoy. Zentiva (SCD) on the other hand posted the highest profit increment, 52.51%, to a total of 24,397,798 RON. Biofarm (BIO) reported a net profit of 12,762,472 RON, up by 8.95%.
Antibiotice also posted a net turnover of 195,886,517 RON (+19.8%) and receivables worth 106,591,713 RON (+8.2%) Short-term debts amounted to 67,517,517 RON (+24.10%), whereas long-term debts stood at 2,617,992 RON (+43.43%)
Biofarm reported a net turnover of 57,829,725 RON (+14.58%) and receivables of 12,890,027 RON (+20.53%). Short-term debts slid to 11,188,913 RON, whereas long-term debts reached 2,367,406 RON. Zentiva"s turnover gained 28% to 246,162,675 RON and reported debts of 850,268 RON (-92%).
