EnglishPraktiker Romania, leader on the domestic do-it-yourself market, begins its expansion plan with Galati, where it will open its 17th store on April 13th. The investment in the new store amounts to nearly 10 million EUR. Including the new project, Praktiker Romania"s total investments reached nearly 150 million EUR. Presently, the company employs over 2000 people and owns a total retail surface of over 100.000 sq.m.
Praktiker Romania operates the largest store chain in our country, owning stores in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Ploiesti, Brasov, Timisoara, Bacau, Oradea, Constanta, Craiova, Arad, Targu-Murea, Braila, Satu Mare, Baia Mare. In 2006, Praktiker Romania posted 153,6 million EUR in turnover, increasing by 56,4% compared to 2005.
