Prefab Bucharest moves from the Rasdaq to the BSE

At the end of last week, the National Securities Commission approved the prospectus drawn up by Prefab Bucharest, maker of construction materials, in order to allow its transfer to the BSE from the Rasdaq.

Prefab Bucharest is controlled by businessman Marian Miluţ, former leader of the National Peasant Party (PNŢCD), who owns 80% of its stock, with 13% being owned by SIF Muntenia. Prefab owns nine plants and holds a port for the extraction of aggregates on the Danube.

The company had a net profit of 267,000 lei, as opposed to losses of 1.1 million lei, in last year"s similar period, but its turnover decreased 32% to 13.5 million lei. The company expects to make a profit of 8.4 million lei this year, four times greater than last year"s two million lei.
