Private Pension Fund Management Firms Must Have At Least 5.5 Mln EUR In Share Capital

The companies that will manage optional pension funds (Pillar III) and privately-managed pension funds (Pillar II) must have a share capital of at least 5.5 million EUR. The share capital necessary for managing optional pension funds and privately managed pension funds will be allocated as follows: 1.5 million EUR exclusively for the optional pension fund business and 4 million EUR exclusively for the privately managed pension fund business. The assets and liabilities of each privately managed pension fund will be accounted separately from the other optional pension funds managed by the same management firm and also separately from the management firm"s accountancy.
