EnglishShareholders of Prodlacta Braşov have acknowledged the 2.245 million lei share capital increase in last week"s meeting. The company"s share capital increased from 14.451 million lei to 16.696 million lei. The amount represents the value of the plots of land for which the company obtained the confirmation of ownership. The company issued 1,650,294 shares with a face value of 1.36 lei, which will belong to the Romanian state, which holds a stake in the company through the Authority for State Assets Recovery. Prodlacta SA Braşov now has the following shareholder structure: the Association of the Company"s Employees and Managers owns 42.24% of the shares, various individuals and companies own 40.57%, and the Romanian State, through AVAS (Authority for State Assets Recovery), holds 17.18% of the company"s share capital.
The Braşov based company Prodlacta had a net profit of 182,000 lei in H1 2009, almost ten times lower compared to 1.86 million lei in H1 2008, while expenses increased by 6.2% YOY.
