The officials of "Hidroelectrica" said that in the first six months of 2011, the company had a turnover of 1.64 billion lei, up from approximately 1.5 billion lei in the similar period of 2011.

In spite of this, the profit of "Hidroelectrica" dropped significantly - almost four times - from over 194.5 million lei, in the first semester of 2010, to almost 52 million lei lei in H1 2011.

During the reviewed period, the company produced 9,220 GWh of electricity.

The value of the investments completed in the January-June interval was 2.38 billion lei, and in the second half of the year it would complete investment objectives of 3.8 billion lei.
