ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), the world"s largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, announced today that it has leased more than 7,000 square meters of industrial space to Transkam, one of the leading Czech logistics providers, at ProLogis Park Úzice.

Customers at ProLogis Park Uzice will benefit from the modern distribution space as well as the sustainable features of the park, including high air-tightness standards for lower energy costs, energy efficient lightning control systems, rainwater collection for soil irrigation and façade cleaning, and an appealing working environment with an on site garden area for employees.

ProLogis Park Úzice is strategically situated 11 kilometres north of Prague along the D8 motorway and a railway line leading to Germany. The location along the motorway gives the park an excellent access to one of the major routes D8/R55 linking Prague to Germany and the Port of Hamburg. The park currently comprises two recently delivered buildings totalling 51,000 square meters. At full built-out it will consist of seven buildings totalling 170,000 square meters of distribution space.
