17 union federations affiliated to CNS Cartel ALFA bringing together workers from all areas of the public sector, will picket today, starting at 14.30, the building of the Parliament, to protest the law of unified wages in the public sector.
"This action is intended to express the disapproval of public sector workers affiliated with the confederation, concerning the drafts of the laws which deal with education, unified wages in the public sector and the reorganization of the state agencies, for which the Government will take full responsibility before the Parliament", officials of CNS Cartel ALFA said in a press release.
According to the aforementioned source, a 15-member delegation of the unionists, will attend the joint session of the two chambers of the Parliament debating the drafts of the three reform laws - the law of unified salaries, the law concerning education reform and the law for streamlining the operations of public institutions.
