This regulation was approved by a Government decision. According to Constantin: "The graduation diplomas that will be issued to future graduates of higher education enrolled in the first year of studies, starting with this academic year 2024 - 2025, will have a QR code as a distinctive element. This standard will also apply to for bachelor's and master's studies and for doctoral studies and for post-doctoral studies. The QR code will contain a unique identifier specific to each study document that will be issued to graduates, and by scanning this code a database will be accessed data that will show the entire academic course of the holder of that diploma". According to him, it was also decided that the supplement to the diploma in the Europass format, which will be issued to graduates enrolled in the first year of studies starting from the academic year 2024 - 2025, will be drawn up bilingually, in Romanian and English.
