EnglishQvt Fund Lp has sold its entire stake in Asigurarea Romanească Asirom Bucharest, according to a report to Rasdaq. On Thursday, June 14th, the fund sold 81,678,117 Asirom shares for 69.4 million RON, at a price of 0.85 RON/share. Qvt gained 54.54%, as the fund had acquired Asirom shares at a price of 0.55 RON/share. Following this transaction, the company has a capitalization of 542 million RON (nearly 166 million EUR).
Asirom shares have a face value of 0.1 RON and are traded on Rasdaq as of December 9th 1997, under the symbol ASRA. The company has a share capital of 63,786,532.3 RON. The significant shareholders in the company are Interagro (50%), AVAS (6.38%), Tarkul Estates LTD (5.39%), Waterwe Ventures Ltd (9.55%) and Broadhurst Investments Limited (5%).
