EnglishShareholders in Rafo Onesti decided in the General Meeting held on February 20th to contract a loan within the limit of 1 billion USD from the German bank WestLB (Landesbank) or any other renowned Romanian or international bank. Shareholders also approved the closing of supply and sales contracts worth 2 Billion USD and respectively 3 billion USD. Guarantee contracts will be closed for the three types of contracts signed by Rafo Onesti, according to the requirements of the banks that will grant the loans.
Shareholders in Rafo Oneşti approved in November 2006 a share capital increase, from 432.026.955 RON to 2.329.993.020 RON, the shares having a face value of 2,5 RON. They also decided to cancel over 3.456 billion shares issued by the company so that the shareholders could keep the stake they had in the company before the share capital increase. Thus, the significant shareholders in Rafo Onesti are Balkan Petroleum LTD, holding 18,18% in the company, the Ministry of Finance, with 34,64% and Calder International with 31,18%.
