Raiffeisen Bank posted a record gross profit of 61,1 million EUR for 2006, up 22% year-on-year, while the profit after tax reached 53 million EUR. The bank reported a 35% increase in total assets, to 4,1 billion EUR. Loans grahnted to clients amounted to 2.024 million EUR, up 42% compared to 2005, while deposits totalled 3 billion EUR, up 38% from the previous year.
Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG, part of RZB group, posted a record profit last year. The consolidated profit rose 55% from 2005, reaching 594 million EUR. Profit before tax, which doesn"t include exceptional results, reached 891 million EUR. Last year, Raiffeisen International obtained 588 million EUR from its holdings in Bank TuramAlem (Kazakhstan) and the former Raiffeisenbank Ukraine. Also, the company acquired in 2006 the Russian bank OAO Impexbank, which will merge with ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria by the end of this year. For 2007, the company forecasts a consolidated profit of 700 million EUR, of which a significant amount will come from the corporate segment.
