Raiffeisen Leasing reported 2,900 contracts worth 136 million EUR at the end of H1, thus marking a 74% increase from the 78 million EUR reported at the end of H1:2006. Vehicles account for 77% of the leasing portfolio, followed by equipment with 18% and property with 5%.
"In five years of operations, Raiffeisen Leasing has achieved quite a lot: we are leading the truck, trailer and utility vehicle segments, we have achieved a 60% growth on the equipment leasing segment and we have started delivering the first significant successes on the property leasing segment," said Mihaela Mateescu, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Leasing.
Raiffeisen Leasing has 16 offices across the country, a portfolio of 250 million EUR and 14,000 ongoing contracts. The company was established in July 2002, thus complementing the range of financial services offered by Raiffisen Group in Romania. "For 2007, we anticipate 50% growth in the financing volume. Our customers" satisfaction reflects on the very high retention rate: 62% of the customers come back for another leasing contract," said Mateescu.
