Raiffeisen Leasing signed a 3-year financing contract worth 10 million EUR with MHS Truck&Bus, the Romanian importater of MAN trucks and busses. The two companies, Raiffeisen Leasing and Bavaria Automobiles, started a collaboration in 2002. In 2005, the MAN Finance solutions package was launched, in partnership with in Raiffeisen Leasing, the Romanian market leader in truck/bus leasing.
In the first quarter of the current year, Raiffeisen Leasing concluded over 1,600 contracts totalling 70 million EUR, doubling the volume of contracts reported for the same period last year. The increase is mainly due to the growth of the vehicles segment, which accounts for 84% of the company"s portfolio. For this year, Raiffeisen Leasing plans to focus on complex equipment, real estate projects and integrated leasing solutions.
Raiffeisen Leasing IFN SA is part of the Austrian group Raiffeisen International and has a share capital of 14,935.400 RON. The majority shareholder is Raiffeisen - Leasing International G.m.b.H., with 99.9% in the company.
