RATB, the public transportation company which operates the tramway, trolleybus and bus networks in the city of Bucharest, has bought 28,700 MWh of electric energy through the Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM) for a total of 7,307,020 RON. According to a press release to BURSA, the transaction was concluded in the Energy Ring of the BRM. Bids were received from CEZ Vanzare SA, Transenergo COM SA, ENEL Energie Muntenia SA, and E.ON Moldova Furnizare SA. Transenergo COM SA won the auction with 254.60 MWh.
