EnglishCyprus-based investment fund Reconstruction Capital II (RC2 Ltd) has acquired 63% in Antares Hotels SRL for 8 million EUR, according to an announcement to the LSE. Antares Hotels SRL owns and operates the Fantasy Beach Hotel in Mamaia, Romania. The hotel has 205 rooms and occupies half a hectare near the Black Sea beach. Antares also owns 2,257 square meters near the hotel. RC2 is planning to use that land for vacation apartments. RC2 intends to appoint Peacock Hotels / Global Hotel Management to operate the hotel as part of the Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts network. In Romania, RC2 has already invested in Romar (medical services), Policolor (dye) and Albalact (dairy).
