A number of 37.776 building permits for residential buildings was issued last year, on the decrease by 0.2%, compared to 2012, informs the National Institute of Statistics.
The most significant reductions have been recorded in the following development regions: North-East (-837 building permits), South-Muntenia (-334 building permits) and South-West Oltenia (-186 building permits). Growth was recorded in the following development regions: Bucharest Ilfov (+866 building permits), West (+434 building permits) and Centre (+91 building permits).
A number of 2.553 building permits was issued in December 2013 for residential buildings, on the decrease by 11.2% compared to November 2013 and on the increase by 9% compared to December 2012.
We can notice a drop in December in the number of the building permits issued for residential buildings (-322 building permits) compared to November 2013, reflected in the following development regions: Bucharest-Ilfov (-301 building permits), South-Muntenia (-67 building permits), Centre (-43 building permits), North-East (-building permits) and South-West Oltenia (-8 building permits). A rise in the number of the building permits issued for residential buildings was recorded in three development regions, respectively: West, North-West and South-East.
