Shareholders in Romcarbon SA Buzau, listed on Rasdaq, have decided to increase the company"s share capital by 13,6 million RON (4,07 million EUR), from 5,10 million RON to 18,7 million RON. Also, the company will reduce the face value of its shares from 2,50 RON to 0,10 RON. As a result, the number of shares issued will increase from 2,04 million to 51,017 million shares.
Plastics producer Romcarbon Buzau concluded 2006 with a net profit of 4,9 million RON, up 32% from the past year. Turnover amounted to 45,6 million RON, gaining 8% compared with 2005.
The company is controled by two Taiwan-based companies, Living Plastic Industry (31%) and Unitai International Corp (29,7%), followed by Eastern Eagle Fund (22,4%).
