Romstal Leasing S.A. financed in the firs quarter of 2007 1.188 contracts over 42 million EUR, up 70% compared to the correspondind period of 2006. The growth was mainly due to the positive evolution on the commercial vehicles segment, equipment and real estate leasing. The company expects a 25% growth in 2007. In 2006 Romstal Leasing S.A. posted 19,2 million RON in turnover, up 146% year-on-year and a net profit of 2,6 million EUR.
At the end of 2006, KBC, one of the largest financial groups in Central and Eastern Europe acquired the majority stake in Romstal Leasing for 70 million EUR. Romstal Leasing IFN S.A has a market share of 4,2% and 20 territorial offices in Romania, ranking fifth among top leasing companies in our country.
