Shareholders in Rulmenti Barlad have decided to pay out 20% of Y2006 profit as dividends, the total amount reaching 3,48 million RON, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by NewsIn. Rulmenti Barlad concluded 2006 with a net profit of 19,23 million RON..
Rulmenti Barlad will contract a loan from BCR in order invest over 4,3 million EUR in two companies based in Belgium and Hungary. The company will invest 90.000 EUR to set up a distribution company in Brussels in which Rulmenti Barlad will hold 30%. The company wil have a share capital of 300.000 EUR.
Shareholders have also approved the acquisition of 49% in Hungary-based New MGM Company for 3,43 million EUR. For this investment, the company will contract a 3,5 million EUR loan from BCR (Banca Comerciala Romana).
