Rumors are pouring around Călin Georgescu, but no evidence appears

Romania is the place where the American counter-revolution starts, through which Joe Biden remains stuck in the US presidential chair, without Donald Trump being able to access the White House, where the voters sent him, Călin Georgescu revealed to us, on Saturday, December 7, in a televised delirium on Realitatea Plus, leaving even Anca Alexandrescu speechless. Călin Georgescu presented the whole phantasmagoria, not as a scenario, but as something that is happening, as a history that he is writing in advance.

"Their intention, especially after Trump's victory, is to declare a state of emergency, and Biden does not leave, and Trump can no longer be appointed to office. The outbreak of this war is only done through Romania. At this moment everything is being played on this card: they want to drag Romania into war (...) Our information is in the American corridor, I am convinced that very soon it will be largely revealed", said Călin Georgescu in the show moderated by Anca Alexandrescu.

Yesterday, December 8, in an English message posted on the X network, addressed to Donald Trump, Georgescu reinforces what he said the night before on Realitatea Plus: "Someone is playing a very dangerous game by taking Romanian democracy hostage! Powerful interest groups want to use Romania as a battlefield. These groups only want 2 things: more money and power. Why Romania? It has the largest border with Ukraine and it has the largest corruption system in the EU! In order to get more money and power, these groups have to invoke a war, which is good for them... and very bad for all of us. Blaming other countries (without showing any evidence) for interfering in the electoral process in Romania, that is their argument!

In this case they will probably invoke NATO Article 4 and then invoke Article 5. This will lead to a state of emergency in the USA as well. By doing this, they want to stop the peacemaker Donald Trump from preserving world peace! If this happens - President-elect Trump will not be able to start his term as scheduled, and Romania will become a militarized country, where, as you can see, democracy and people's rights have already disappeared. After that, all Hell breaks loose! In God we trust, both in ourselves and in our countries!".

Returning to the Realitatea Plus show, after posing as a peacemaker in the first part, Călin Georgescu later asked his followers to go to the polling stations on Sunday, although Anca Alexandrescu told him that they no longer exist after the decision to cancel the presidential elections taken by the Constitutional Court on Friday, December 6. However, Călin Georgescu insists and claims that 9 people (ed. note - the judges of the Constitutional Court) cannot decide for 19 million people, without asking himself the question of how a single man - the president of the country (a position he wants) - can decide for all Romanian citizens, whether they have the right to vote or not.

So yesterday morning Georgescu went to the polling station in Mogoşoaia, where he reiterated his firm position against the decision of the Constitutional Court of Romania to cancel the results of the first round of the presidential elections. In front of cameras and journalists, who outnumbered Georgescu's supporters, he declared: "The Romanian people deserve to have their vote respected! The vote is the foundation of democracy, and when it is ignored, democracy itself is called into question." He stressed that the CCR's decision not only undermines the legitimacy of the electoral process, but also sets a dangerous precedent for the country's future.

"We cannot accept that the will of citizens is treated with contempt by institutions that should defend their rights. It is time for these abuses to stop," he added.

Călin Georgescu urged the authorities to reassess the decision and take measures to ensure the transparency and fairness of the electoral process. "Ignoring the will of citizens is not the solution. We need responsibility and respect for democracy," he said, requesting a meeting with representatives of the Central Electoral Bureau and the Constitutional Court.

His call was not followed by those who voted for him on November 24, with the press counting only a few dozen voters at the doors of consulates and embassies abroad, where polling stations no longer existed according to the decision of the CCR and the Central Electoral Bureau. If there were more voters, including in the country, we do not know because yesterday the televisions did not report anything like that, not even Realitatea Ancai Alexandrescu. It seems that the connection between Călin Georgescu and the electorate that voted for him is quite fragile. In case he had planned to later gather his followers for a massive protest in the center of the Capital, the lack of enthusiasm of his supporters thwarted this plan that is attributed to him without any evidence.

Why are we talking about the lack of evidence? Because four days have passed since the Prosecutor General's Office and DIICOT took action following the declassification of the documents presented at the meeting of the Supreme Council for the Defense of the Country on November 28, and almost three days since the CCR canceled the presidential elections and no evidence has emerged regarding his material ties with the Kremlin or with the financiers of his campaign. What the authorities are doing seems to be a kind of construction of problems for the accusations made before having any evidence.

• Possible scenario regarding Horaţiu Potra

Regarding the evidence, the media reported in great detail yesterday the case of Horaţiu Potra, a former member of the Foreign Legion, who supports Călin Georgescu. The press reported that the police detained Horaţiu Potra and 20 other people in traffic because they were going to organize unauthorized protest actions in Bucharest. Moreover, sources close to the investigation claim that the group had the objective of intimidating inconvenient journalists and that they even found a list of these journalists and their addresses. Antena 3 TV station broadcast images in which Horaţiu Potra, the leader of the mercenaries intercepted on Sunday morning while heading to Bucharest, makes threats against Romanian politicians. The clip shows Potra, dressed in jeans and a dark jacket, coming with a machete in his hand into a clearing in a wooded area. Before starting to speak, the mercenary makes a few movements with the blade, as if preparing for a fight. He then squats down, holding the blade of the machete resting on his left shoulder.

"Hello, gentlemen of government, gentlemen of politics who have been leading Romania for 30 years. In fact, you have stolen Romania for 30 years. We know that you appreciate Western values, as do most Romanians. We all appreciate Western values, but from here to impoverishing and indebtedness of the Romanian people by liberalizing the market, there is much to discuss. You are all traitors to the country who serve foreign interests. Especially those Romanians in the shadows, who are hidden and who give orders. There are some of them, we are sure. For two years you have taken away all our rights, including the right to breathe, you have treated us like prisoners, you have impoverished us by completely destroying the economy," says Horaţiu Potra in the respective clip.

We note that the footage is not dated, and the cited source does not specify when the video clip was recorded.

Following the search of the vehicles in which the individuals were traveling to the Capital, several edged weapons were discovered (axe handles, a machete, 2 pocket knives), 68 pyrotechnic items in the F4 category, pistols, tactical and military camouflage uniforms and equipment, survival and first aid kits, tactical backpacks, other accessories and equipment in this category, bulletproof vests and money.

However, it is possible that there is a scenario in which Horaţiu Potra is the man infiltrated by the Ministry of Interior alongside Călin Georgescu, just as the scenario that says Potra was hired by Russia is also possible. He would have been following to cause chaos in the Capital with the 20 gorobets trained in paramilitary camps.

Let's not forget, however, that Horaţiu Potra was sentenced to a suspended sentence for illegal possession and carrying of a weapon, for promising to take revenge on Traian Berbeceanu, the one who arrested him. Surprise, Traian Berbeceanu was later arrested. The BURSA newspaper published a photo of Traian Berbeceanu who was accompanied by police officers at the High Court of Cassation and Justice, and in that photo we recognized Horaţiu Potra who was freely enjoying the moment.

Therefore, Horaţiu Potra's connections with the Romanian intelligence services and the Ministry of the Interior are very likely, because he was sentenced to a suspended sentence for illegal possession of an undeclared weapon in Romania, given that he had a real arsenal and had simply failed to declare the weapon in question. Potra was never convicted of the drug trafficking that Berbeceanu accused him of, but for a minor offense, which says a lot about the protection he would enjoy from the Romanian authorities.

• Prosecutors confiscated $7 million from Bogdan Peşchir

Also regarding the lack of evidence regarding a direct connection between Călin Georgescu and those who support him, we recall the situation of Bogdan Peşchir, the Braşov businessman who allegedly illegally financed Georgescu's presidential campaign. Prosecutors from the General Prosecutor's Office carried out extensive searches at his three homes and at the company headquarters, actions as a result of which investigators confiscated $7 million and seized several devices, computers and data storage capacities, which will be subjected to computer searches. Moreover, Peşchir was questioned by prosecutors, who released him without ordering any preventive measures.

Peşchir claimed that the money was made from cryptocurrency transactions, but investigators considered that the amount in question did not have a clear, legal origin and ordered its confiscation. Where is the direct, material, contractual link between Peşchir and Călin Georgescu? Prosecutors are still looking for it in the devices seized from Peşchir.

As can be seen from the above, Călin Georgescu, in addition to the still unproven attacks against him, was also confronted yesterday with the acute lack of supporters whom he called to the polls. The fact that Georgescu's appeal on Saturday evening from Realitatea Plus and on Sunday morning in front of the polling station in Mogoşoaia were not followed by his voters - not even by those in the Diaspora, demonstrates once again that some of those who voted for him on November 24 did not do it for him - because they did not know him, did not know who he was, and even confused him with George Călinescu -, but voted for him out of defiance of the current political class that put on the table for the presidential elections a list of candidates that was an affront to the common sense of citizens.

Faced by the pro-European parties with the election of Ciolacu, Ciucă, Lasconi or Geoană on November 24, citizens revolted and voted for Georgescu, but not for his ideas, not for what he said in the electoral campaign, but only to sanction those parties. Something that Georgescu and those who financially support him did not notice and that is why they continued to shout that the CCR decision is an abuse, unconstitutional and that 9 people cannot cancel the vote of 19 million voters. Which 19 million? In the first round of the presidential elections, only 9.4 million citizens with the right to vote voted, and Călin Georgescu obtained only 2.2 million votes.
