IT company SCOP reported a turnover of over 40 million EUR for the first half of 2007, thus recording a 30% rise from the same period last year. In H1, IT products distribution accounted for 90% of the company"s turnover. The best selling brands were Toshiba, HP, Fujitsu Siemens, Acer and Microsoft.
The company maintained its position as a market leader on the notebook segment, with a market share of 25%. SCOP recorded a significant increase in multimedia distribution and software applications.
The company ended 2006 with a turnover of over 70 million EUR. For the current fiscal year, SCOP expects a turnover of over 90 million EUR.
SCOP Group currently employs 200 people and has partnerships with over 30 manufacturers. The group operates a national distribution network of approximately 1200 partners.
