EnglishThe Romanian Commodities Exchange (BRM) yesterday organized an open tender for construction materials, mortars, sheet iron, wood, indoor and outdoor doors, windows and others as such for the benefit of the National Housing Agency (Agentia Nationala pentru Locuinte - ANL), which is planning to rebuild flood-stricken homes in counties Bacau, Neamt, Iasi, Suceava, Botosani and Maramures. According to a press release, 19 companies registered for the tender from the original 42 companies that had bought the tender documentation. The BRM did not charge any commission for mediating the tender as a form of contribution to the effort to help flood-stricken population.
