Shareholders in Brasov-based bearing manufacturer Rulmentul will analyze on March 15th the restructuring program set by government ordinance and the approval of the dissolution and voluntary liquidation decision, according to a report to the Bucharest Stock Exchange, quoted by NewsIn. Shareholders will also discuss the appointment of a sole administrator, until a liquidator is assigned.
Rulmentul Brasov reported net loss of 8 million RON (2,4 million EUR) for the fourth quarter of 2006, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, when the company posted net loss of 28 million RON. For the fourth quarter of 2006, the company posted 27 million RON (8 million EUR) in turnover, down 17% from the similar period of 2005, when Rulmentul reported a turnover of 32,3 million RON.
The company"s net loss for the whole year 2006 was 40,6 million RON (12 million EUR), increasing 3% compared to the previous year, when net loss amounted to 39,42 million RON. For 2006, the company posted 114,6 million RON (34 million EUR) in turnover, down 10% from 2005, when Rulmentul reported a turnover of 127,4 million RON.
Rulmentul shares are listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as of April 1998, under the symbol RBR. The company has a share capital of 32,91 million RON and the majority shareholder is the Romanian State, holding 50,9% in the company.
