Shares issued by SAP AG and Adidas AG have been registered in the RoClear clearing-settlement and registry system, in order to perform cross-border settlement operations, starting with August 31st, the Central Depository announced yesterday.
The two issuers are headquartered in Germany and share the same depository - CBF (Clearstream Banking Frankfurt). The shares are listed on the main European Exchanges (London, Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Berlin, Milan), as well as on the NASDAQ, Xetra, Tradegate Exchange.
The RoClear system has an online interface secured using digital signatures, and the instructions that are sent through it are subject to the separation of functions (4-Eyes Principle).
