Catalin Chelu, the CEO of financial investment firm (SIF) Moldova, has sued SIF Oltenia for having suspended the votes cast during the Shareholders" General Meeting of 29 August. Chelu said he would give further details on the matter in the coming days. His intention was to contest the decision last week, but SIF Oltenia delayed the publication of the decision after the Meeting took place. The SIF Oltenia Shareholders" General Meeting held in late August decided to maintain Dinel Staicu as CEO of the firm, but Chelu claims that many votes against Staicu were suspended. Chelu believes that, if concentration was a problem, the votes should have been suspended at the beginning of the meeting, and not after the vote.
