"Transilvania" Financial investment company (SIF3) posted a net profit of only 4.01 million lei, for Q1 2009, down 67% YOY, from 12.15 million lei, according to the financial statements published on Friday.
The company"s total revenues dropped by almost 60%, down from 22.56 million lei to 9.37 million lei, whereas costs only dropped by 1%, to 5.35 million lei.
In January-March, the company"s net assets shrank 2.58%, down to 1.13 billion lei.
SIF "Transilvania" has a share capital of 109.21 million lei, split into shares with a face value of 0.1 lei.
During Friday"s trading session, the company"s shares gained over 4%, with the average trading price being 0.5 lei/share.
