IT developer Siveco Romania SA intends to focus on European projects this year to maintain the growth pace achieved in the last few years. The company"s turnover rose from 26 million USD in 2004 to 37.6 million USD in 2005 and 42 million USD in 2006. Projections for this year indicate 50 million USD, up by 20% from last year. The number of employees increased from 2 in 1993 to 600 in 2006 and is slated to gain another 200 this year.
GM Irina Socol said the company"s ambitions for 2007 are quite high, especially considering that Intel Capital, the investments division of Intel, and Enterprise Investors have recently become shareholders in Siveco. The company is a partner of Intel, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM and HP and has some 1,800 customers in 35 countries.
In Romania, the company"s customer portfolio includes Aerostar Bacau, Petrom, Rafo Onesti, the Romanian Naval Authority, Aker Tulcea and IBM Romania. The product portfolio includes a variety of IT solutions, including eCustoms, eLearning, eHealth, eAgriculture, SIVADOC, SIVABON and Enterprise Application Suite.
