Hydrotechnical construction company Socot Targu Mures reported a net profit of 1.31 million RON for the first half of 2007, dropping 10.7% from 1.46 million RON in the same period last year, according to a report to Rasdaq quoted by NewsIn. Turnover advanced by 52% to 32.53 million RON (10.38 million EUR), compared with 21.37 million RON in the first six months of 2006.
For the current fiscal year, the company expects a net profit of 741,000 RON, down 50% from 2006. Total revenues should amount to 58.45 million RON, while total expenses are expected to reach 57.59 million RON. Socot Targu Mures (SCTO) ended 2006 with a net profit of 1.46 million RON, up 50% from the previous year.
The company has a share capital of 1.11 million RON, divided into 443,653 shares with a face value of 2.50 RON. The significant shareholders are Eugen Laurean Popa (20.23%), Adrian Andrici (20.03%) and the PAS Socot employees association (20.10%).
