Spanish Group Detea, active in fields such as construction, agriculture, energy and environment, announced that its investments in real estate projects in Romania would reach 680 million EUR. The company intends to develop residential projects, shopping centres and office buildings in several Romanian cities.
The group"s projects in our country will occupy a total surface area of approximately 450,000 square meters, according to company representatives. Detea intends to invest some 480 million EUR in residential compounds, while investments in office spaces should amount to 84 million EUR.
The Spanish group has decided to spend some 116 million EUR in order to build shopping centres in Alexandria, Ramnicu Valcea, Busteni, Constanta, Ploiesti, Giurgiu, Fetesti and Bucharest. Each mall will measure up to 15,000 square meters, while the total built-up area will reach 68,000 square meters.
Currently, Detea Group also has investments in Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, Poland and Argentina, its assets being estimated at over 1 billion EUR.
