EnglishCampina-based refinery Steaua Romană SA plans to borrow 25 million EUR in order to finance two investment projects, according to company data published in Monitorul Oficial.
In the General Meeting held on April 26th, shareholders decided to contract several banking and nonbanking loans totaling 25.01 million EUR. They also decided to use the company"s net profit for 2006 as self-financing source.
Steaua Romana plans to invest 23.410 million EUR in an oil treatment plant. The remaining 1.6 million EUR will be used for the expansion of the company"s waste water treatment facilities.
The majority shareholder is Omnimpex Chemicals SA, with 82.45% in the company, followed by SIF Muntenia -SIF4 (5.69%) and others (11.84%).
